The nanoFAB provides two modes of access - User training and self actualized and fee-for-service. In either case, the first step is to create an account in LMACS (Laboratory Management & Access Control System). This is the main portal to access nanoFAB equipment and service.
Once you've created an account, determine which access model you will utilize. It is possible to utilize both models.
User training and self actualized work
Under this model, users will request training from nanoFAB staff members. Once they have demonstrated sufficient competency, self directed work is possible.
Fee-For-Service
Under this model, users will request services that will be performed by nanoFAB staff members. This is a common access mode where user's wish to obtain a limited number of, or very specific characterization results which would require time-consuming training.
