Applicable EquipmentKratos Ultra XPS and PHI VPIII



  1. Download CasaXPS  version 2.3.24 or later and install it. Activate it if you want to save and/or export the data. 
  2. Rename the file of XPS.lib to XPS_download.lib in CasaXPS folder.
  3. Download the a new library for both Kratos Ultra and PHI VP III into CasaXPS folder.
  4. Rename the downloaded download library file name for Kratos Ultra and PHI VP III  to XPS.lib if the name is different.
  5. Open the file ParameterFile.txt in CasaXPS\CasaXPS.DEF folder.
  6. Insert  one line: phi source label between the following 2 lines:

              xps default lineshape: LA(1.3,230)

              correct for angular distribution

         New 3 lines is :  

              xps default lineshape : LA(1.3,230)

              phi source label

              correct for angular distribution

        Save ParameterFile.txt. There is a space line between xps default and phi source label.
