Please note: As of

January 01, 2022 entry to each building on the University campus has been limited to those individuals with pre-existing card and/or key access.
If you are a current nanoFAB user, that does not have ONEcard access to ECERF, please complete this form to request access. You will be contacted with further instructions once the request has been processed. This process requires a valid U of A ONEcard and CCID. If you do not have one, you may request a CCID.
Once completed, you will be granted access to the North-west main ECERF building door, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. 
Warning

Requests may take up to 3 business days to complete—ensure that you submit your request well in advance of any building access needs (e.g., scheduled tool training, booked tool usage).

Note
If you are unsure of your access status, please complete an Administrative LMACS request.

February 28, 2022, ECERF and CME buildings are open for access during business hours. 

Temporary ECERF Door Access requests are no longer required. No further steps are required for nanoFAB users to access facilities in ECERF and CME during business hours.

  1. On submission, this form will email  Melissa Hawrelechko,  and Davor Karacic, and  Michael Hume.
  2. Submissions should be processed at least daily.
  3. Once a user has been granted access, double-click the  Access Granted  field to enter the date that access was granted. 
    1. The selected record will turn green once this field has been filled
    2. Fill in the Schedule ID
    3. If the user already exists, indicating they are an existing user with after-hour access and the schedule should not be deleted, select  Yes  in the  Persists  column (the record will be shaded grey).
  4. The user is sent a confirmation that their access has been granted.
  5. Once access has been removed, double-click the  Access Removed  field and enter the date access was removed.
    1. The selected record will turn red once this field has been filled
  6. For details on how to setup the access in the ECERF door system, refer to: Door Access - Scheduling
    1. An individual must only be a valid LMACS user to be eligible for access.
    2. Access should be granted M-F; 07:30 to 18:00
